Reservation Requests & Response Times

Skagway Development Corporation is a small nonprofit organization, and equipment rentals are coordinated alongside our regular business operations. While we strive to respond as quickly as possible, please allow up to three (3) business days for a response or reservation confirmation. Requests submitted on weekends, holidays, or outside normal business hours will be reviewed on the next business day.

Please Note: Submitting a reservation request does not guarantee equipment availability. Reservations are considered confirmed only after you receive a confirmation email from Skagway Development Corporation.

Planning Ahead

To help ensure equipment is available for your event, we encourage you to submit rental requests as early as possible. We are unable to guarantee same-day or weekend reservations. If your event is within three business days, we will make every effort to accommodate your request; however, availability and staffing may limit our ability to fulfill short-notice reservations.

Communication

Equipment rentals are managed during normal business hours. Staff are not available to respond to rental requests during evenings, weekends, holidays, or while on approved leave. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to assist all customers as promptly as possible.

Catering & Event Equipment Rentals

Skagway Development Corporation is pleased to offer catering and event equipment rentals, previously housed at the Rec Center, to support community events, fundraisers, and gatherings of all sizes.

Whether you are hosting a wedding, graduation party, fundraiser, or community event, we have the equipment you need to help your event run smoothly.

Our inventory includes a wide range of items to support both small and large events, including:

• Tents

• Tables and chairs

• Tablecloths

• Plates, silverware, and place settings

• Glassware and beverage service items

• Serving and buffet equipment (chafing dishes, trays, utensils)

• Specialty equipment such as popcorn machines, hot dog machines, and beverage dispensers

• Portable bar (keg-compatible)

We offer affordable rental rates, with A 50% discounted pricing available for nonprofit organizations.

Rental Terms

• All items must be returned clean and in the same condition as rented

• Cleaning and damage deposits are required

• Additional deposit requirements apply for select items, including the portable bar
