Winter Wonder Walk

Decorate: December 1 - 13     Showing: December 14 - January 3     Clean-up: January 4 - 10

Yuletide is a magical time of the year here in Skagway. To help brighten the holidays, bring fellowship within the community and a lot of cheer, SDC will be championing a Winter Wonder Walk for the first time. With the help of the community we hope to Deck the Halls, or rather the parks around City Hall, and we are asking for the community's help!

Do you have any extra LED Christmas lights to spare? Some extra time to decorate a tree or two? Maybe you would like to 'Sponsor a Spot' by donating money for SDC to buy light strings, extension cords and other needed tools? Or perhaps you would like to contribute funds to help with electricity or to help SDC reach the goal of purchasing one or two big fancy commercial light displays? No help with this project is too small. If we get enough donated, we hope to make a walk (or Drive) that goes from the Train Park North of City Hall, around Veterans Park and to Mollie Walsh.

Sign-up to Decorate

Do you have extra strands of LED lights at home? Or perhaps some spare time? SDC is looking for volunteers to both contribute lights and to help decorate the parks around City Hall.

Please sign-up below and in the comment section, be sure to include, if applicable, what day between December 1 - 13th you are available to help decorate.

All borrowed lights will be returned at the end of the event.

Contribute Funds
Donations to the Winter Wonder Walk will be utilized to help cover electricity costs, and to purchase light string, displays and other decorating equipment. Donations can be in check payable to SDC, Cash or Credit Card through the payment portal below. Please indicate in the comment section if there is a certain need you would like your donation to go towards.
Your contributions are helping us make a Skagway winter attraction for years to come! Thank you!
Wouldn't it be cool to add these light displays to our attraction?
Help us reach our goal for these and more!
Thank You to our Donors & Light Contributors!
