SDC-CDS Programs & Projects

2021 Utility Assistance Program
Skagway is facing one of its toughest years yet due to the coronavirus pandemic. As we prepare for winter, SDC-CDS is working to establish a utility assistance program for Skagway households during the months of January, February and March. This program will be available to Skagway residents who are making at or below the HUD guidelines for low-income. The support available to households each month will depend upon the amount of funds SDC is able to raise or procure for the program.
SDC-CDS is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit. All donations are tax deductible.

If you would like to donate to this program, please make checks payable to SDC-Community Development Service (please add utility assistance in the memo). Donations can be dropped off at the Small Business Resource Center (SDC office), Mailed to PO Box 1236 or submitted online.

If you have questions, please contact Kaitlyn today at 907-983-3414 or skagdev@aptalaska.net.
If you are an Alaska Native or American Indian, please consider applying for the Skagway Traditional Council's Direct Assistance program to most efficiently use limited local resources.
