This year's theme celebrates those classic Yuletide traditions.

This weekend is full of wonderful events and activities and if you have never been on the famous
White Pass "Santa Train" then you really do have a great reason to travel to Skagway this
December and experience one of the great Christmas festivals in Southeast Alaska.

GORDIE TENTREES BAND
Gordie Tentrees is the newest ambassador of Yukon Roots Music. His Country-Folk- Blues sound
mixed with heart bleeding lyrics, harmonies and multi-instrumentation has taken this popular Yukon act
to festival stages across Canada. He has managed to tour from his remote northern home, performing
over 400 shows in the past 2 years alone. When leading his band this high-octane act is known for his
blistering groove wacked energy embracing his audience. He is also known for his charming solo
performances, filled with story driven songs, tossed in with some heartfelt fingerstyle/slide guitar
chops, layered with deft harp/rack combo blowing leaving behind only the sound of his gentle foot
stomping. His songs are filled with humorous touches on life observations, slamming the listener with a
sense of the rare, honest, gritty truth. He performs in a solo, duo or band format using guitar,
resonater, dobro and harp/rack combination.
